Julie's paintings have emerged from observations of natural forms and places she frequently visits surrounding her studio in St Ives. She studied with Julie Kennard at the Royal Academy of Music on a scholarship, winning prizes including the Croft Prize for Early Music and graduating with the DipRAM. Recently I returned to painting horses and dogs alongside making a body of work that attempts to articulate my response to my move to the Welsh Marches.
