They have been questioned by the agency in Mumbai in March.The Enforcement Directorate (ED) had last month questioned and recorded the statements of Chanda Kochhar and her husband Deepak Kochhar over multiple sessions.The affidavit further said that Kochhar's conduct has caused substantial embarrassment to the bank and all the stake-holders, and has led to an irreparable reputational loss to the bank.During its preliminary enquiry, the CBI found that six loans worth Rs 1,875 crore were sanctioned to the Videocon Group and companies associated with it between June 2009 and October 2011 in alleged violation of laid-down policies of ICICI Bank.Months after the preliminary inquiry to probe the alleged irregularities in the Rs 3,250 crore ICICI Bank-Videocon loan case, CBI has filed an FIR in the matter against the Kochhars and Videocon group's Venugopal Dhoot.The court adjourned the matter for next hearing on January 13, 2020.Former ICICI Bank MD and CEO Chanda Kochhar had claimed that she had requested in October 2018 for early retirement and the same was accepted by the Board of Directors of ICICI Bank.The agency seized her Mumbai flat and some properties of her husband's company.
