I’ve been catching one here and one there mixed in with the largemouth. The bigger fish seem to come from deeper water, the 15-18 ft. range. Hope everyone is still healthy. The water was at its highest temp yet hitting 83 degrees and some very good Northern Pike action was had with chatterbaits, and spinnerbaits around grassy areas. Most of the fish are in the 10-13 ft. range. The afternoon trips have been a struggle. Angler’s trolling crankbaits over the lake basin are also catching walleye.Largemouth bass remain on the deep weedline. The heat has moved gamefish into their summer peak period, and I have heard of several outstanding bass catches.
