Paths around Tempe Town Lake are open from 5 am to midnight every day for your enjoyment. Otherwise enjoyable views of the lake and surrounding are. Family friendly with paddle boats, paddle boards, and bicycles to rent. Bridge lights up at night and has beau urban scenery.Nice walk. The north and south shores of the lake are connected by the Mill Avenue bridges and the Rural Road Bridge. There is also the annual Rowers Triathlon, which consists of a 4,000 meter erg piece, body circuits, and a five kilometer run.Originally built in 1931, Tempe Beach Park was completely renovated in 1999 as part of the construction of Town Lake. I think this trail map needs to be updated.In order to complete this trail you have to go under a freeway overpass and then climb down some rocks to meet back up with the trail which is really more of a maintenance road.
