Students must have a strong interest in applied materials science. Thanks to the hard work on the part of ASM volunteers and staff, the foundation is able to provide exciting opportunities for young people, encouraging them to pursue careers in materials, science, and engineering. The camp is housed in a recently completed, four building, $300M science and engineering complex. Emphasizing common, everyday man-made physical UW MatCamp 2021 Application Materials ASM Materials Camps®-Students. Students are asked to describe why they want to learn more about materials science and engineering as a possible college major and career.
