I have been using singular form for 30 years.
Not all nouns conform to the standard pattern. The Correct answer is "there is no correct answer, they all work". That is why we increased the length of names. Generally, nouns are regular, i.e. seems very time confusing of you have to re-write stored procedures and functions etc.

Hi, @blobbles the plural would be BookAuthors, not BooksAuthors. The Books object is a collection, and presides over all records in the Books Table. I think it is not hard to come up with workaround names. It is one of those eternal discussions:Most tables should be pluralised (IMO) because they are collections.Prefixing tables with tbl adds little value.
