Slip the long piece of the cable up and out the other end of the PVC pipe. It also looks easy to construct, which is really nice for homeowners who may not realize they need one until a snake shows up on the premises. We just popped the copperhead in a Styrofoam ice chest (with extra side snaps for added security) & it was very easy to snap the lid off then turn the chest away from us to release. If there's a snake hanging around your garden, basement or chicken coop, trapping it and releasing it somewhere else is an effective and humane way to handle the situation.

Got this 3 foot Rattler coming in my front door last night! Especially around here. Weird to say that about a snake catcher, but believe me, when you have to remove a snake from your chicken coop because it got in and ate all your baby chicks, or eggs that were due to hatch the next day, you want, no you NEED, this! Of course, once he came out he made a bee line straight to us!! That really is a good idea. Get contact details and address| ID: 20242135191 Kitchen tongs just don't cut it! (On the end where your loop of rope came out,) drill a hole and insert the bolt through, not only the pipe, but make sure you are between the two pieces of rope. Nice Instructable, definitely a great way to keep those guys at a distance.

3. The unique aspect of these tongs is their ability to come apart. These tongs measure 52 inches in length and are constructed with a high-quality aluminum pole that houses the stainless steel cable..

Have a wonderful day!Wow!

The top jaw is coated in rubber three times.

Large buckets with lids are a great option. Cut the PVC to length, slip the copper end caps on, and drill straight through one end cap so that the cable can be pushed through. Inside the box, glue or very strong double-stick adhesive tape is laid down. That's a very common misconception.

These are versatile tools that can be used to hold down the snake for a brief period of time while you position the tongs or support the snake’s body weight during the move to a container.Longer tongs are great for removing snakes that are hidden in the brush. If you happen to grab the snake near the tail, use the hook to control the head as you move the tongs up.The longer a grabber is, the harder it will be to lift the snake. The handle also uses a pistol-style grip and controls. The jaw has a unique mechanism that acts like a pair of scissors. While they all serve the same purpose, slight differences in design can make snake extraction and removal a bit easier and safer to do.

Cool!

That would be great for the unwanted cactus in my yard or the big thorny weeds. Took about 15-20 minutes and definitely under $10 for materials. Make sure to use a gentle yet firm grip. Hope you enjoy! You're standing in your yard, holding a three foot strip of venomous anger at arm's length, what do you do?
