I also like the small Paradise Valley movie independent movie theatre contained in the food court area.

a decent but small mall, with the usual stores, anchored by the usual bigger stores, Sears, Dillards, Macys, Kohls....food court is ok, enough choices to choose from; the Paradise Café was very good- looked a little like Panera; prices were average, for a mall anyway.After hitting all the major malls over the past view years, this was a surprise.

Then the fancier outdoor Desert Ridge Mall opened with it's outdoor activities for kids.. fancier chain restaurants and chain stores.. and it's newer movie theatre... etc.. and all the young people disappeared and hung out up north at Desert Ridge. The food court is great although limited variety to choose from. Dayton Hudson Corporation, now Target Corporation, was an early investor in the project and owned the Diamonds department store chain, which was one of the original anchor tenants.

Visiting this mall was like stepping back in time when malls were in their glory days. That being the case, judge Paradise as what it currently is.. many stores are gone and part of it was torn down and replaced by a Costco over the last dozen years.
