Margaritaville Island Hotel is a tropical getaway in the heart of Pigeon Forge.
The facility was nice in appearance and clean. That might be a confusing statement, considering that Pigeon Forge is located in the decidedly land-locked and decidedly NOT tropical Great Smoky Mountains, but Margaritaville Hotel does its best to make you feel like you’re basking in a tropical paradise. Enjoy a luxurious room and great dining options, and from there, the sky’s the limit. Should you arrive before 4:00 pm, you may check-in to your room, provided it is ready. It’s a combination that is utterly breathtaking. I was there in early March with somewhat warm weather, but rain and heavy clouds some.Many shops and eateries on The Island opened on May 1. This includes the hotel Coffee Shop. There are plenty of activities to just park your car and enjoy The Island.I stayed in the Fountain Room which offered a lovely view of The Island Fountain. Nice private pool/bar area for guests on second floor. In addition to The Island, the hotel is perfectly situated for visitors to enjoy the mountains, scenic drives, shows, museums, and more. You’ll also notice the Great Smoky Mountains stretching off in the background. That’s okay because you’ll want to come back again and again. Now Open & Welcoming Guests!
