So yeah...I'm just wondering if Shuckle is actually a viable defender with its #1 defense stat, or if people only put him into gyms as a troll move. I love putting it on because it always takes 3 Battles to remove it, but it's nothing more than an annoyance. It has more of a "WTF" factor going for it cause people will see a low CP pokemon but it has 300 defense and can take a few hits but other then that they really dont do much and can still easily be knocked out.
While yes, the 3 fight system sucks and people think defending is pointless, putting a stronger defender can earn you extra coins.Blissey is pointedly better than a pidgey and takes a much longer time to kick out. items, abilities, natures and EVs.Some detail, including the intended game mode for your set, is also appreciated.

Shuckle is, by far, the most CP efficient pokémon of them all! Some may argue on this but it's strong against Metagross, and resists Machamp usually, if the Champ doesn't know Rock Slide.
