I’ve been searching high and dry for a solid scope to get started in long-range shooting.

I have had the Vortex Viper and the Argos side by side and the clarity of the glass IMO is about the same but I have found that the tracking of the Argos is slightly better than the Viper.Very impressed with this scope.

Love the FFP reticle. It’s also more durable and less likely to break than wired reticles.Speaking of results, Athlon Optics did not sponsor this review. Does anyone have first hand experience testing them, so I know what to expect? The scope is made of quality material for improved strength and durability. Just zoom and boom. THANK YOU. WOW out of the box with a quick bore sight and six shots I was shooting 1 MOA at 100 yds first time firing my RPR, First time using a bolt action rifle, and First visit to an outdoor range since leaving the military. Overall I am impressed with the Argos BTR and Athlon. Anyhow, thanks for stopping by!No more adjustments.

I'll start off by saying I am comparing this to my only other scope (besides red dots), a SWFA SS 10x . Or is that all marketing hype?So after talking to a couple of folks I met at a long-range shooting event, I hesitantly decided to buy the Argos BTR 6-24×50.Overall: It’s a great high-end long range scope that works like a charm. (Argos 6-24x50, Talos 4-14x44) Last weekend I mounted both of these up to my 6MMBR. I narrowed it down to the Helos or the Argos BTR and midway had the Helos on backorder so the Argos the only choice. Love the riflescope so far! Search . Mounted it on my 20″ barrel AR. Athlon Argos BTR is a popular option at the top of the price range. Reticle instructions were very informative and you just can not beat the warranty. The Argos is approximately $600 less then the PST and I would say just as good.I have been using the Argos BTR 6x24x50 in MOA for a few weeks now and I have not a single bad thing to say about it! This sucker has all the tidbits and trimmings at an extremely affordable rate. The optics also has exclusive XPL coating that protects the lenses from dirt, grease and harsh weather conditions for improved durability.The rifle scope has a First Focal Plane reticle that is designed to allow you to fully utilize specially designed reticles that shrink or grow along with your target as you zoom in or out. this is my first long range scope so take my review for what its worth.
