She rolled the butter in dough and it almost looked like a biscuit, with cinnamon,etc. I have never been able to make the crust the same as theirs.My cousin makes these but added cocoa powder to them.I can’t stop thinking about these…. Try nutmeg if you don’t like cinnamon. I’m all over these!! My mom used to make these every Christmas morning. I can’t wait to give them a try.Pie crust tasting rolls!? The only difference seems to be that she never used cinnamon, but rather a healthy sprinkling of vanilla extract (like hold your thumb over the bottle opening and sprinkle).

Roll each biscuit thin & flat, out a pat of butter in center sprinkle with brown sugar, gold over, press edges together. Haven’t had one in more than 30 years.
